Six Sigma Champions Training - 1 day
A course designed for business leaders and professionals who wish to learn about the role and responsibilities of a Champion within a Six Sigma Initiative. The delegate is expected to have previously attended the 1 day Introduction to Six Sigma Course.
The Champion plays a key role in a successful implementation of the Six Sigma Methodology and as such it is vital that this training is given prior to a Black / Green Belt training programme begins.
The Champion will learn how to identify potential improvement opportunities and how to shape them into Six Sigma projects. Methods of prioritizing opportunities will be discussed and the construction of project charters will be demonstrated.
The Champion will learn how to classify projects as suitable for Black Belt or Green belts and how to identify suitable team members for potential in-house projects.
The Champion will be shown how to support the Six Sigma teams during the DMAIC phases and how to establish methods to ensure the findings are communicated throughout their organisation.
At the end of the course The Champion will have a clear understanding of their role in removing barriers to ensure that the Six Sigma projects are completed on time with the expected benefits.
The course will run from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm with coffee breaks and luncheon supplied, course notes and an attendance certificate will be supplied.
