Six Sigma Green Belt Training - 10 days
A course designed for prospective team leaders of improvement projects within a Six Sigma initiative.
A Green Belt is a team leader of a reasonably complex Six Sigma Project. Green Belts usually work on projects in areas where they themselves have some expertise.
The course provides in-depth instruction in the DMAIC Methodology through application in continuous & discrete manufacturing and administration processes.
The course consists of class room sessions and practical team exercises. The course is usually run as two 5-day sessions, but can be scheduled to suit client requirements.
It is expected that the delegate will work on a project during the training programme and Scott-Jardine can offer consultancy support before, during and after the training course to help ensure successful completion of the delegate's project. (Project support is an additional cost item).
After completing the training and their first project the delegate will have a thorough understanding of the application of the DMAIC Methodology for process improvement.
Delegates will be shown how to study processes by using knowledge obtained from team members and how to analyse data through the correct application of statistical tools.
The statistical analysis will be performed using Minitab. The delegate is expected to bring a laptop to class with Microsoft Office and Minitab installed.
Each day will consist of 8 hours training with coffee breaks and luncheon supplied, course notes and an attendance certificate will be supplied.
