Lean & Six Sigma Training & Improvement Programmes

LEAN AND SIX SIGMA LEADERSHIP (2 Days)
Designed to inform and support business leaders that are considering a Lean Six Sigma Improvement programme.

The importance of strategic alignment and organisational engagement in delivering the improvement roadmap is considered.

The training considers the issues of leadership, the risks, benefits and next steps in introducing a programme.

The programme is delivered as two days off site training at our Lion Court training facility in rural Leicestershire or two and a half days on site with practical business specific content.

AN INTRODUCTION TO SIX SIGMA (1 Day)
This training course is designed to give a robust introduction to the subject for business leaders and professionals who are involved in Six Sigma or who are interested in learning more about the subject.

The course explains what is Six Sigma, how it works and explains the criteria for success.

The course lasts one day at our Lion Court Training Centre or on site as required

SIX SIGMA CHAMPIONS TRAINING (1 Day)
This course is designed for managers and executive staff that are sponsoring the Six Sigma improvement projects. It provides an overview of the DMAIC process but focuses on the importance of the project charter and the selection of team leaders and members. It helps identify the issues around resources and support that will be required to ensure project success.

This course lasts one day and can be delivered at Lion Court or on site.

SIX SIGMA GREEN BELT TRAINING (10 Days)
The green belt training course is designed for key employees engaged in driving improvement activities as part of their role. The course gives a full grounding of the DMAIC process including the use of statistical techniques to analyse data using Minitab statistical software. The training will provide delegates with the skills and tools to lead Six Sigma projects where improvement activity can be part of the normal job.

The course lasts ten days with practical work between sessions. The course is based at our Lion Court Training Centre in Leicestershire or on site if required

PROFESSIONAL ACCREDITATION
Getting the training as a green or black belt is only the start. The certificate of course attendance means little if you are unable to put into practice what has been taught. The professional accreditation programme is designed to help support the belts with the practical delivery of the Six Sigma projects after training. This is the way that the projects can be independently checked and monitored and full professional accreditation gained after two successful projects have been completed and sustained.

This is organised on a case by case basis with support of the Master Black Belt and Programme Director
